1. totally-

2. who knew switching up the nightly bath from the tub to the kitchen sink would make me best-mom-ever?

3. does anyone else l.o.v.e. zee laundromat?(or do you all have washers and dryers-oh the dream) i've been the one lugging clothes back and forth this week. between the whirl of the dryers, the smell of clean laundry, the maury drama, ("you arrrrrreeeeeee NOT the father") and my kindle, you'd think i'd just gone to the spa when i'm done!

4.this post by grace on blog embarrassment. can i just say, YES! when i think about the fact that no one could be reading this, it's less embarrassing than thinking that someone could be reading this. also i just never know what to say when someone says they read it..... but words have never been my forte

5. this week i finally discovered the greatness of the lumineers. there was a time pre-baby that we were really into getting new music and discovering new artists, but that time is long gone. so when i stumbled upon this song i was thrilled to be out of our usual playlists and onto something new!

6. in other music news, NYC finally got a country radio station! which makes me V. happy. we've less than 3 months until our time here in brooklyn is up but we've still countless hours in traffic, made better by nash 94.7.

7. chicky turned six months this week! last month she learned to sit up on her own, and has started razzing and making new noises every day. i repeat "mamamamamamama," so i can ensure this is her first word... which she thinks is hilarious. she's still napping 3 times a day (one long and 2 short). no teeth yet!
