what we do

each year i get excited to share with you dirty vagabond's video update.

if you're new around these parts (the blog, that is), dirty vagabond ministries is the non-for profit that my husband and i moved to brooklyn to be a part of. without going off on too much of a tangent, so many amazing things have been happening in brooklyn. in such a big city, it's so easy for kids here to "slip through the cracks" and never feel loved. dirty vagabond works to change that by being intentional, and meeting the kids where they're at.

thank you for all of your support and continued prayers as we continue to try to bring the message of the gospel, which gives hope and love to the kids here.

  2. I am so touched by this ministry - This is the face of the New Envangelization! This is what it's about. You said you and your husband moved to Brooklyn to be a part of this ministry? I'd love to hear more about what you do and how God called you to serve in this way.

  3. thank you so much for the kind words! i'll definitely do a post in the future if you are interested. but in short, we made a 3 year commitment to serve a parish and area of Brooklyn (starting in 2010) and we moved here from Ohio. there's such a need everywhere, especially in inner-city areas!...http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/cardinal-dolan-sees-us-as-mission-territory/
