Monthly Update: 4

what the what? isn't there a way to make them stop growing?!

for some reason i thought.. oh yeah things will deeeeefffffinitely get easier once she gets older and sleeps through the night (ha). but, once i got over that bump, there was another one ahead...(isn't that always the case?) this little chicky will only take naps for 30 minutes or so at a time. it's something we're troubleshooting, she seems so exhausted! she acts cray cray, which might be partly the age, but i'm certain it's also part delirium..  enough of the trials let's talk about the fun stuff!

4th MONTH RECAP:
grabbing things: which was exciting until she found my hair

rolling over: back to stomach

screeching

not fitting ANY clothes... does anyone else think there's a lack of clothes on the market for 4 month olds?

sleeping through the night

teething, towards the end of the month

smiles at me when i "rescue" her from the crib

HELPFUL THINGS:
visiting family!: it's nice to give these biceps a break once in a while

now that chicky loves to stand so we got one of these and she's pleased as punch

baby pain medicine: has helped tremendously with her teething

..........

did you notice santa came through with our favorite headbands ever for the babe!?

p.s. any advice on keeping your babies, babies forrrreeever, would be appreciated. i think peter pan was on to something...

  4. Hey! So I just found your blog via pinterest. :) I can identify with you on the naps thing... our little girl just hit 6 months and just a couple weeks ago started taking longer naps (they had been at about 30 minutes too). Whew! But no advice on how to keep them little. :)
