de-christmasing woes

i've been taking down christmas decorations all day, which is always a major bummer.
as i'm pulling down christmas bulbs, i'm simultaneously putting up heart garlands and drinking hot chocolate in an effort to lift my spirits. valentine's day is such a let down coming off the best holiday there is.
while sifting through all of our christmas cards, i decided i needed to do something to savor all of the pretty....

and so, i began to make valentine's cards from miscellaneous scrapbook paper i had and remnants of the christmas cards.

i think this will become a new tradition.
i've beat my depression, and am ahead of sched. for valentine's day!
