full and blue moon tonight,(the last one was on our wedding in 2009) but no signs of rosemary! looks like we'll have a september baby after all..

baby mobile DIY

i'd seen this DIY on pinterest a while back, and after i found the chandelier crystals at a consignment shop in virginia, (which my mother-in-law bought for me) i committed to making my own version. i really love the way the crystals catch the light and move around on the wall.

what i used:

i removed the metal hooks that the crystals were attached with and tied the crystals together with fishing line, connecting them to 2 embroidery hoops that i had painted white. (i originally did one hoop, but i like the fullness that 2 gave) i attached the 2 hoops together with fishing line as well. there's nothing super 'calculated' about it but feel free to leave any questions you have in the comments and i'll try to assist you!

andy and i are all about the newest indian pop sensation and will forever quote him.. "hey, hey, hey what the hell do u think of yourself?"

btw nothing new on the baby front still sitting directly in front of the AC, eating ice cream directly out of the tub, researching ways to naturally induce labor.

39 weeks and 3 days, but who's counting?

i think a friend of mine said it best when she explained to me, that the closer you get to your due date, the further away it seems. we're all set to go, the car is packed with our bags for the hospital, but for some reason it still seems months away. i'm convinced i'll deliver on friday (it is a full moon, and they say more babies are born on full moons) andy's guess is that i'll go a week late and have to be induced.. i hope for his sake that he's wrong.

well hello, it's been awhile! between getting ready for this baby, my olympic feva, and family vacay, i've not had a split second.. so here i am with a quick scatter-brained post on life as of late...
