27 Weeks..

seeing my feet is becoming less of a reality, as i'm just a few days away from my third trimester. the uncomfortableness of being so big is slowly creeping in...

i've been busy getting things settled in the new apartment, and although there's a lot left to do, i feel better knowing rosemary's room isn't too chaotic. i'll be updating more as soon as i dig my way out from under all of these boxes.

procrastination

we're moving! staying in brooklyn, just moving to a different apartment. i can't even put into words how excited we are, and considering i'm in full blown "nesting mode," which has coincided with emotional break down mode ( God bless Andy) this move couldn't come at a better time. (<--- that sentence has to be a run-on, but i've no idea how to fix it... shannon? mom? other english majors?)

even though i can't wait to be in our new place, the act of 'having to move' has invoked, within me, a feeling of impending doom. so i've been doing what any other rational person would do when they have an important deadline looming...procrastinating.

in my defense, i've had other very important business to attend to, such as: curling my hair, ichatting my mom 3 times to talk about nothing in particular-which led to my subsequent ichatting my sister and nieces for the aforementioned reason, organizing my scrapbook paper, watching the american idol finale (even though i didn't follow the season),  and catching up on every episode of 60 minutes i've ever missed...

it also doesn't help that the internet has been so stupidly funny this week like this: imdb review of the 90's classic 'a kid in king arthur's court', or this twitter account mocking the zooey deschanel iphone commercial by tweeting other stupid things that zooey could ask siri.

oh and did you know that the FREE teaser issue of verily magazine is now available online... you'll be hooked! 

and (finally) this site, society 6, has really inexpensive amazing artwork, and free shipping all weekend! hello new apartment!

have you ever had what you thought was a good idea turn out to be a bad idea? like the time i thought jumping on a trampoline at 23 weeks pregnant might make me feel "weightless"...

we have such a great community of friends in the pittsburgh area that it's always hard to leave, but i've got a lot to do in order to get ready for our little rosie who will be here at the end of the summer..
