so i had seen these marble magnets a few different places online and made a set of them for each of my friends for graduation.. i <3 them! and they're easy to make while you are sitting around watching a movie
what you'll need:
1.images to display (these can be from almost anywhere: scrapbook paper, magazines, i purchased these at http://www.digitalcollagesheets.com/, and also used some of my favorite quotes)
2.magnetic buttons
3. a glue that dries clear (i used a silicone sealer)
instructions:
1. cut the images to fit the penny sized marbles
2. place a small amount of glue on the image
3. press the marble on the image firmly (you will see the glue spread)
4. leave to dry
5. stick the magnets to the back
voila! they aren't too distracting but are considerably strong, and make for a good conversation piece
p.s. these fit 6 comfortably in an altoids tin for present packaging
